We have been providing a child portrait service to schools, nurseries and playgroups for as long as we have been running our studio photography business.
We are very proud of the quality of our work. All our photographs are of the same quality as the ones from any of our studio portrait sessions; parents of some of the children that we photographed in playgroups or nurseries have subsequently visited our studio for family portrait sessions.
We do not like the "production line" approach to child photography, where children are photographed regardless of whether they are happy, or frightened and ready to burst into tears. We always try to capture "happy" pictures even if it means spending a little more time trying to coax a smile.
We also like to give parents a few images to choose from. What we believe to be the best photograph may not always be the parents favourite image so we let the parents do the picking.
